• Congresswoman Schwartz officially recognized PMCA in the House of Representatives in Washington D.C. as one of  four schools in the 13th Congressional District of Pennsylvania that have participated in the project. PMCA's official recognition was then entered in Congressional Record for the day. History teacher Thomas Sorkness accepted a framed copy of the recognition. (see text of the record)..
