Junior/Senior
Banquet
 Last
Friday evening, PMCA's Juniors and Seniors
arrayed themselves in tuxedos, formal dresses, flowers, jewels,
elaborate
hairdos and more as they gathered at the elegant Union League in
downtown Philadelphia for the annual Junior-Senior banquet.
Senior class parent Mr. Gerald
Glover was set up to take the formal poses

of the couples as they
arrived, and

many took advantage of his
expertise while
others mingled and enjoyed the
beautiful building with its many portraits.
Once
the meal was over, the dancing began. Many a pair of shoes
was kicked underneath a table while the girls danced barefoot. Some of
the gentlemen took to the floor for some solo break dancing, but most
of the time the dance area was packed. Clearly, a wonderful evening was
had by all!

Senior Class Reminder
Each year a PMCA parent prepares a collage with pictures of all of the
graduating seniors. This collage is displayed at the graduation
breakfast, during graduation, and back at PMCA through Back to School
Nights. Each senior must provide a photo, 4x6" or smaller. This may be
a cap and gown photo, or any other appropriate recent
photo, candid or formal. Please be sure these photos reach Mrs. Stemler
in the office by next Tuesday, May 11.

In the March

National Merit Scholarship Finalist, an honor achieved by fewer than
1% of the nation's high school seniors.
Earlier this
week, it was announced that Christine has been selected as the winner
of a Scholarship
awarded by the National
Merit Scholarship Corporation. Only 2,500 of these scholarships are
awarded. Christine will be attending Amherst College and hopes to
become a physician.
