Phil-Mont incorporates chapel services into the life of the school. Middle and High School meet on Tuesday mornings and Elementary School meets on Friday mornings.
Middle/High School Chapel
Students can join the chapel leadership team and help to organize and lead chapel on a weekly basis. Typically there is a chapel speaker and student-led music in each service. Speakers are often local pastors, parents, missionaries or school staff members. Chapel is often recorded and posted to the school’s YouTube channel, allowing parents to see what is happening and hear how God is working in the lives of their children while in school.
Elementary chapel takes place on Friday mornings at 8:30 AM. All of our K through 5 students join in singing praise songs led by staff. Often one class is scheduled to open the chapel service with a recitation of scripture or a song followed by an opening prayer from one of the students. Chapel for elementary also includes a chapel speaker. Phil-Mont students are shown at an early age that you are never too young to praise the Lord or participate in worship. At times we are able to record parts of these chapel services especially for parents. Phil-Mont parents are always invited to attend elementary chapel, and many often do.
