Phil-Mont’s Feed the Need is not selling candy or taking magazine orders or even racing around the track in the park. Instead, our students will be learning about poor, hungry children in Haiti as well as raising money to buy food for those children. The money raised will purchase food parcels – 10,000 meals! – that our students will pack for the children in Haiti. As an added bonus, some funds raised stay at Phil-Mont to support the technology initiative and financial aid program.

Friday, February 9 from 6-8 pm Kick-Off Event: All Phil-Mont families are being encouraged to attend. During the Kick-Off, families will hear all about Feed the Need, enjoy a baked potato bar dinner and possibly win some amazing door prizes. The evening will be jam packed with activity – not the least of which will be hearing from Mona Jean-Baptiste (Gilbert Alamur’s mother) who will speak with first-hand knowledge about Haiti. Please RSVP Here
During the day on Friday, March 23 our students will be packing 10,000 food parcels for those poor, needy children in Haiti. That “Packing Party” event will occur in the gym and a schedule for the day will come out as we move closer to the event.
We hope to raise $50,000
