Art class at Phil-Mont begins at the PreKindergarten level and goes all the way through 12th grade, including the opportunity to take AP Art. Mrs. Cheryl Crowe teaches high school students, Mr. Marco Bustos teaches grades 3 through 8, and Mr. Will Liegel works with the lower Elementary students using “Art on a Cart”, traveling from room to room, once per week. Phil-Mont art classes cover a wide variety of genres and styles of art, working through art history in the lower grades and improving with the elements of design in high school.
Elementary – Creation, art history, and genre studies
Middle School – Principles of Design, plus Art club (for competition)
High School – Basic Art, Drawing & Painting, Sculpture, Graphic Design, Pre-AP, AP Art, plus Wednesday Electives (watercolor, photography, clay)
